This past March, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2025 National Land Conference in Tucson, Arizona, hosted by the Realtors Land Institute (RLI). Every year, this event brings together the best and brightest in the land real estate industry, and this year’s conference was particularly special for me—both professionally and personally.
A Major Milestone: Earning My ALC
One of the most unforgettable moments of the trip was being officially pinned by the National President of RLI in recognition of earning my Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation.

This designation represents a huge personal and professional goal. It’s the result of countless hours of education, hands-on experience, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards in the land industry. To stand on that stage and receive my pin in front of my peers—many of whom I deeply admire—was truly humbling and something I’ll never forget.
More Than a Conference
The sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities at NLC were phenomenal. From cutting-edge market insights to conversations with other land experts from all across the country, I walked away with renewed energy and fresh ideas to better serve my clients.
What I love most about this community is the willingness to share knowledge and support one another. There’s something really powerful about being surrounded by people who are just as passionate about land as you are.
Recharging in the Desert
While the conference was the main focus, I made sure to carve out a little time to explore the beauty of southern Arizona. The weather was perfect, and I spent one morning hiking some of the scenic trails in the Coronado National Forest. Being out there—surrounded by desert views and sunshine—was the perfect way to reflect and recharge.
Looking Ahead
Receiving the ALC designation is a career milestone I’m incredibly proud of, but it’s just the beginning. I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and helping clients navigate the world of land real estate with confidence and care.
If you’re curious about what it means to work with an Accredited Land Consultant—or just want to talk land—I’d love to connect.
Here’s to the road ahead!
